[nysbirds-l] Tri-colored Heron, Turtle Cove, Pelham Bay Park, Bronx

There is currently a Tri-colored Heron on Turtle Cove Pond, adjacent to the golf driving range. The bird is foraging along with Great and Snowy Egrets. This is an unusual bird for this location. An ID photo can be seen here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/104771838@N08/ also: Willow Flycatcher

[nysbirds-l] 6/2 - NO Hamlin Beach Kirtland's Warbler as of 9 am

This morning there were a number of birders covering the various locations the Kirtland's Warbler was seen yesterday, but to my knowledge the warbler was not heard or seen as of 9 am. There are still folks checking and if I get any updates I will post. Cheers, Andy Guthrie Hamlin, NY --
