A DICKCISSEL was reported on eBird by a visiting birder earlier this
morning. I re-found it in the Maintenance Meadow area of the park, which is
immediately west of the the park's East Drive and and just south of the
79th Street underpass.

Is this a three month-old bird of the year (=Hatching-Year and first-winter
plumage) or a 15 month-old bird (=Second-Year; possibly still first-summer
plumage, but more likely second-winter plumage by late September)?

End last Saturday morning was found by Karen Fung and not by me. I know there
