While driving along Rt. 17 between Binghamton and Liberty on Friday (3/4), we saw at least 4 Bald Eagles and a beautiful leucistic Red-tailed Hawk (almost all-white - some dark areas on the lower back and tail). Returning the same route on Sunday (3/6), we saw 2 Bald Eagles and 1 adult Golden

There was an adult Kumliens Iceland Gull at the west end 2 lot but was gone when I checked later. Bonaparte Gull was by the Coast Guard sandbar. Boat Tailed Grackles were present every stop from Oak Beach to Jones Beach. No sign of the Oak Beach Eared Grebe. A lovely young couple I met tried
