At Hunters Garden, during an Eastern LI Audubon Society field trip, a male Cerulean Warbler was heard and observed for at least 10 minutes, around 9:30 this morning, along the access road to the water tower. The bird was seen high in a flowering oak tree, near the "high"point of the access

Hey crew, Stella Miller found several Black-billed Cuckoos in the woods behind the large field in back. We watched as a pair of males chased each other and copulated with a female. There were also at least two Yellow-billed Cuckoos calling closer to the south end of the field. At least 14

After a stop at Hempstead Lake SP, I went over to Oceanside and just missed a SEASIDE SPARROW. While going back to look for it, we found a SALTMARSH SPARROW. So, the sparrows are back along with a number of CLAPPER RAILS. A GREEN HERON showed, but not the recent Tricolored Heron. Shorebirds
