While trying to get in on a pretty much non existent migration flight at Fort Tilden, I stumbled upon a Cattle Egret loafing on the soccer/rugby fields. This one showed even less breeding plumes on its head than Rob Jett's Floyd Bennett Field bird and looked more like John Young's bird from Van
