I wanted to post a huge thank-you to the woman who found the Ross's Gull
today - Bernice Gawron of Stephentown, NY! Bernice was looking across
Tupper Lake (from Route 30) at ice fishermen (a long distance away) when she
spotted the gull flying from their

At noon we saw an adult Black-headed Gull visible from Owls Head park over
the water treatment facility. Later the bird was sitting on a railing at
Veteran's Memorial Pier. It then flew back to the water treatment plant.

Reynolds. We could not find the Lincoln Sparrow again however we got some
pictures of a Swamp Sparrow hiding near the garden shed in the southeast
corner. Also had at least another 4 Grey Catbirds.

first-winter Ross's Gull was relocated at the Tupper Lake boat launch. Here

I was just sent a correction. The building north of City Hall at the City
Hall Park location is Tweed Courthouse not Tammany Hall as I mentioned.

Hall and City Hall buildings south of the fence where the Ovenbird was
