I found a Richardson’s Cackling Goose on an evening walk at Hendrickson Park. The bird was feeding within the fence by the handball courts on the southwestern side of the lake. Overall goose numbers continue to increase slowly but steadily. Cheers! -Tim H -- NYSbirds-L List Info:

thanks for posting, congrats on a nice find fyi, I checked today but could not find it. if its still there it was probably staying undercover from the constant wind. only thing I saw perhaps worth mentoning was a pair of pintails on the swale. hopefully the shrike is refound on the weekend
