[nysbirds-l] Eurasian Wigeon - Tonawanda WMA (Genesee Co.)

I was able to see the Eurasian Wigeon reported yesterday by Peter Yeorg at North Feeder Marsh, Tonawanda WMA, in Alabama, NY. The bird was associating with 2 dozen American Wigeon. It was identifiable without a scope, however a scope would be helpful. I was told these birds left just before 5:00

This morning 9:00 am there was a pink footed goose (presumably the same reported over the past few weeks) and two snow geese in a flock of about 300 Canada geese in the field on the south side of Rte 27 opposite the riding stable Jane F. Ross 1112 Park Ave. New York, NY 10128 mobile:
