An unexpected turn of events led to an outstanding Tern day at Breezy Point
Queens.
In total, I had 4 (yes...you are reading this correctly) ARCTIC TERNS.
Two 1st Summer and two 2nd Summer types. With one 2nd Summer bird more advanced
than the other. I uploaded a few phone scoped photos and p
Tripper and I Currently 1 first summer Arctic and 4 Roseates out near the
jetty.

Hi all,
The pair of Black bellied Whistling Ducks continued as of 1:30 PM at
Nissequogue River State Park in Suffolk County. They were on the small
duckweed covered pond near the end of the entrance road and the
administration building. They spent a fair bit of time foraging at the
northwest end o
Very nice birds to get. I had two with the redhsank in Brooklyn back in the
'90's. Wish they'd come into Westchester once in a while:-)
