Matt and all, This pond (along with the smaller pond SW of the library) is primarily used as a roost, and numbers diminish by mid morning. Sometimes geese do not return before twilight in the afternoon. The geese go to the many golf local courses during the day and are pretty inaccesible then. Be

I spent my lunch hour searching for the Greater White-Fronted Goose to no avail. Most of the pond is frozen and the geese and mallards are mostly close to the “dock.” While it was not found, it is possible that it is still among the Canadas (and cackling?) and just overlooked. Good luck to thos
