Re: [nysbirds-l] Central Park NYC - Sat. Nov. 2, 2019: Eastern Bluebird
Apologies, In the excitement over the Purple Gallinule, I inadvertently left out an Eastern Bluebird (FOS) that Bob & I heard this morning in Shakespeare Garden. [nysbirds-l] 2 western kingbirds , Jones beach west end 3-yes
For anyone around the 2 western kingbirds can be found by walking the median towards the turnaround, making a left where you can see a path that looks like car tire tracks, about 50% down that path and look east and there is a tall bare tree with robins and the kingbirds are sitting in it. -Kev -- NYSbirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/nysbirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L 3) http://birding.aba.org/maillist/NY01 Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --

[nysbirds-l] Western Kingbird, Jones Beach West End, Nassau County
A Western Kingbird is currently perched up on a bare tree at the south side of the open area in Jones Beach West End’s median. It is enduring quite a bit of grief from a mockingbird and some Yellow-rumps, but so far it keeps returning after its flights.
