Hi Anne,

Yes. The bathrooms are opened and cleaned on regular basis.

They have been open the entire time.

Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)






     8/11: A LITTLE BLUE HERON was seen in flight at the entrance to the 
Montezuma Refuge on Rt. 20. A HUDSONIAN GODWIT was seen from East Road and 
remained through the 13th.

     8/15: A BAIRD’S SANDPIPER was seen with peep at VanDyne Spoor Road.

     8/16: A LEAST BITTERN was seen in the Main Pool. A YELLOW-BELLIED 
FLYCATCHER was seen on the West Shore Trail near VanDyne Spoor Road.

     8/17: A BLACK-BELLIEDPLOVER, 5 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS, 1 LONG-BILLED 
DOWITCHERS, 2 STILT SANDPIPERS and a HUDSONIAN GODWIT were all seen from East 
Road. A MARBLED GODWIT was seen from East Road at 10:00 a.m. Possibly the same 
bird was seen was seen at VanDyne Spoor Road at 2:00 p.m. The MARBLED GODWIT 
was seen again on the 18th. at VanSyne Spoor Road.







Onondaga County






     8/12: RED CROSSBILLS continue at Shakham Road south of Rt.80 near the 
Cortland County line. They were reported through the 15th. and up to 15 were 
seen at the intersection of Shakham and Herlihy Roads.

     8/14: The seasons first migrant OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER was seen and 
photographed at Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville.

     8/15: The first COMMON NIGHTHAWKS of the season were seen from the big 
fields area of Three Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville. Another was seen in 
Skaneateles on the 16th.







Oswego County






     8/13: A SANDERLING was seen at the Water Treatment Plant near Oswego 
Harbor.

     8/16: 108 BROAD-WINGED HAWKS, 67 RED-TAILED HAWKS and 9 BALD EAGLES were 
seen at Derby Hill.







Oneida County






     8/16: A COMMON NIGHTHAWK was seen from Coleman Mills south of Rome.

     8/17: 8 Shorebird species including SEMI-PALMATED PLOVER were seen the 
Main Street Overlook at Delta Lake north of Rome.







Herkimer County






     8/16: 2 Common nighthawks were seen in Dolgeville.







Extralimital






     A BROWN BOOBY was seen and photographed on Indian Lake in Hamilton County 
in the Adirondacks. The sightings were made from 8/14 through 8/16.
