June 14, 2021

Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)
------------ 

     6/14: A SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER was seen on the Wildlife Trail.
     6/16: A CERULEAN WARBLER was seen at Howland Island. A LEAST BITTERN was 
found at Tschache Pool. 
     6/17: A PROTHONOTARY WARBLER continues at the forested area of Armitage 
Road.
     6/19: A SNDHILL CRANE was seen on the Wildlife Trail. 
     6/20: 3 CERULEAN WARBLERS were seen at Howland Island. A CERULEAN WARBLER 
was seen on the Wildlife Trail. A BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was seen at 
Tschache Pond. 2 CERULEAN WARBLERS were seen at VanDyne Spoor Road.


Cayuga County
------------

     6/16: A BLACKPOLL was heard at Sterling Nature Center.
     6/17: An ACADIAN FLYCATCHER was found on Kent Road west of Hannibal.
     6/20: A CERULEAN WARBLER was found on Pierce Road south of Hannibal.


Onondaga County
-------------

     6/17: A CERULEAN WARBLER was spotted on the Erie Canal Trail west of 
Warners.
     6/18: A GRASSHOPPER SPARROW was found at Cedar Bay Park in Fayetteville,
     6/19: A PRAIRIE WARBLER was found at Labrador Hollow Unique Area.
     6/20: 2 LEAST BITTERNS were heard at the Tully Conservation Area south of 
Tully. An ACADIAN FLYCATCHER was found on Markham Hollow Road just west of 
Labrador Hollow. A PRAIRIE WARBLER was found on James Street in Fayetteville. 
An ORCHARD ORIOLE was seen at Green Lakes State Park. A PEREGRINE FALCON was 
seen from West Genesee Street in downtown Syracuse.


Oswego County
------------

     A PROTHONOTARY WARBLER and an ACADIAN FLYCATCHER continue to be found 
consistently on Gray Road south of Oswego off of Rt. 48.
     6/15: 2 SANDHILL CRANES were spotted from Cusson Road near the Klondike 
State Forest north of Oneida Lake. 
     6/16: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen on West Lake Road south of Oswego.
     6/20: An ACADIAN FLYCATCHER was heard on Brackett Road south of Fulton.
an ORCHARD ORIOLE was found on Hinman Road north of Pulaski. A CEERULEAN 
WARBLER was found Dam Road near Altmar.
     6/21: A PEREGRINE FALCON was seen near Oswego Harbor.


Madison County
------------

     6/16: A GRASSHOPPER SPARROW was seen on Mason Hill east of Hamilton.


Oneida County
------------

     6/16: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen at Verona Beach State Park.
     6/20: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen at Sylvan Beach.


Herkimer County
------------

     6/15: A GRASSHOPPER SPARROW was found on Peck Road west of Dolgeville.
     6/16: 2 PINE SISKINS continue to come to a feeder in Dolgeville.
