Yellow legged Herring Gull it is. I thank you all for the feedback. Angus
Wilson, point taken.
Shaibal Mitra's excellent pictures of a yellow legged Herring Gull seem to
show an even darker mantled individual.
It has been a great opportunity for me to learn.
