[nysbirds-l] Black Guillemot continues in Southampton, L.I.

2009-12-22 Thread Carl Starace
Hello All, The Black Guillemot that was seen on the Quogue to Watermill
CBC continues as of 2 pm Tuesday. Eileen Schwinn has just spotted the bird
sitting in Peconic Bay with some Longtailed Ducks about 200 yds off the Inlet
of Bullhead Bay.She tells me the secondary roads from Sunrise Highway up to the
Inlet are plowed.Other birds seen by Eileen along Sebonic Inlet Road were 4
Bluebirds, a Northern Harrier and a Common Snipe by the bridge over to Ram's
Island. Not too shabby for this frigid day.Good December Birding, Carl
