[nysbirds-l] East Hampton Report
Today while going to observe the stranded, apparently moribund, immature Humpback Whale at East Hampton Main Beach (Suffolk Co.), I found 4 BLUE-WINGED TEAL at Hook Pond. I haven't heard many (or perhaps any) reports of this increasingly uncommon duck yet this spring. Three WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS continue along the dirt road to the south end of the pond. Good birding to all!
