Mike Cooper just found the Lark Sparrow. there is a Rough Leg
working the trees along the northern border.

Please have patience! Two individuals have walked out to the bush in the last
few minutes. Fortunately the sparrow is present, using the southern most of the
three small junipers.

[nysbirds-l] Le Conte's Sparrow at Calverton Grasslands

2011-01-08 Thread Corey Finger
I just got a call from Seth Ausubel who reported that Tom Burke found a Le
Conte's Sparrow at the Calverton Grasslands. The bird is in a fenced-off area
with some kind of electrical equipment in it along the northern-most runway
just
west of the north-south road that splits the property.

Good luck if you go,

Corey Finger
