Steve et al,

There was a Dickcissel in with a large flock of house sparrows in
and around the coast guard station at west end - jones beach stpk,
and a Clay colored sparrow first found by the exit from west end 2
lot, [ which is nearby] then in the weedy patch near  that, in front
of the park building.

ALSO  there is a Dickcissel in the Robert Moses stpk *also* field 2,
by the picnic area adjacent to the golf course, and with it was also
a Clay-colored Sparrow,

There was a negative report on the Manhattan twitter feed about an hour
ago. Seven plus observers had been looking for it and come up empty.

I'm out at Jones Beach West End myself together with Rich Fried and we have
another negative report to add. No sign of either Dickcissel or
Clay-colored sparrow. Beautiful day though.
