[nysbirds-l] Shorebirds in the Hamptons today
Hit some of the usual spots. 20 shorebird species with the best being the American Avocet at Mecox at dawn and 9 Marbled Godwits, a Stilt Sandpiper and a Whimbrel at Cupsogue. Sammy’s Beach in East Hampton has also had up to 5 Whimbrels this week.
