A lovely day (10/27) at the watch here, with the highlight 4 subadult Golden 
Eagles, a really nice daily total for Chestnut Ridge.  The first bird that 
passed was relatively close, and digiscoped pictures taken then allowed it to 
be aged as a Basic I.  The three others that showed about 20 minutes later were 
soaring together in the same scope view at one point (!).  

Other highlights included a N. Goshawk, 7th of the season for the watch, and a 
total of 27 Red-shouldereds for the day.
