14 Sep. This morning about 7:30 AM, I saw a large raptor on a light pole just north of the Meadowbrook Parkway toll booths. It was a very quick glance of the back. I thought it was one of the Ospreys that are seen on the poles at this time of year, but the bird had an all white head. When I met our group, I mentioned this to them. I speculated that it was an adult BALD EAGLE rather than an Osprey and told all to look for it. On the way home, about 1:00 PM, both Debbie Martin and Joe Giunta separately saw a Bald Eagle at the location.
