Subject: [nysbirds-l] Barnacle Goose at Belmont Lake State Park (Suffolk Co.)
I arrived at BLSP at 8:00AM this
I arrived at BLSP at 8:00AM this morning to see if the Barnacle Goose reported
from St. Charles Cemetery was spending the night on Belmont Lake. I observed
the Barnacle Goose on the West side of Belmont Lake at 8:15AM. Shortly after
that I noticed a Cackling Goose in the mass of some 1500 Canada
