A female SUMMER Tanager was enjoyed by observers in the heart of the
Ramble, and there were also multiple Scarlet Tanagers, a preponderance
of females but also some males around. This most recent of the park's

Migration continued at fair pace all through the week, and this
Saturday, things picked up just a bit more, particularly noticeable
for migrant thrush numbers, as well as a modest increase in a couple
of warbler spp.

Black-billed Cuckoo; as a result, we were able to enjoy fantastic long looks!

Interesting migration arrival, with the southern half of the park
seeming to reap more of the benefit of both variety & numbers, which
was just fine with the hundreds of observers who braved the rest of
the Sunday crowds and the walk
