Later on, at 2:39pm Bob spotted two Common Nighthawks flying over the American 
Golden-Plover that was foraging on a mudflat in the Bronx Kill on the NW side 
of Randall's Island. Also in the area, a female American Kestrel and male 
Belted Kingfisher. Thanks Gloria Hong for re-finding and reporting the American 
Golden-Plover today, a bird subsequently seen and photographed by many.

Roger Pasquier reported a Vesper Sparrow at the Pinetum on Friday Oct. 9th.
