Hi everyone,
There was a drake Eurasian Wigeon hanging with the relatively few lingering 
ducks on Leeds Pond in Plandome this afternoon. eBird evidence suggests it has 
been there on and off for at least a week. Really unimpressive photos on the 
checklist:

Afterwards, walking around the perimeters of the closed Hempstead Plains 
Preserve areas north and south of Charles Lindbergh Blvd turned up little of 
note. A Ring-necked Pheasant called once from the south side of the boulevard.
