Subject: [GeneseeBirds-L] White-faced Ibis - Lewiston - YES

 

I was at the wetland off Porter-Center Road in Lewiston this morning and
found the White-faced Ibis around 9:45 where it continued until 10:30 when I
left.  Chris Hollister was also there, and as soon as his car pulled away I
found an American Bittern in some low branches over the water directly
across from the parking lot.  Other birds included Green Herons, a
Kingfisher, Bobolinks, Meadowlarks, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs,
Short-billed Dowitcher, Stilt Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Semipalmated
Sandpiper, several Killdeer, a half dozen Great Blue Herons, a female Wood
Duck, and some Cliff Swallows.
