[nysbirds-l] Floyd Bennett Northern Shrike
At 6:50 AM the Northern Shrike literally called to my attention through a series of vocalizations. It presented itself for a solid 5 minutes where it was perched on top of some medium sized shrubs along the south west edge of the model airplane runway.
