I know it's extralimital, but today while at Bartholomew's Cobble in Ashley
Falls, MA, I had a Myiarchus flycatcher across from the parking lot along the
trail just past the big elm before the trail goes up hill into the woods.  It
seemed to be a little smaller than a Great Crested Flycatcher and had a lighter
gray breast and throat.  The belly was a very pale, almost gray-yellowish, but
more on the gray side not nearly as yellow as Great Crested or Brown-crested.
It was more like Ash-throated's color but even less yellow and the bird seemed
larger than a Ash-throated too.  Has anyone ever seen a Great Crested like
this?  I suppose it could be just molting or something but don't know.
Unfortunately some people came by and flushed it so couldn't get a photo.  My
two buddies were with me and agreed it looked weird for a Great Crested.  Any
help would be appreciated:-)
