A female King Eider was discovered this morning in Jones Inlet towards the Pt. Lookout side of the Inlet, floating south on the outgoing tide. Also present in the inlet were scattered flocks of approx. fifty Common Eider. Land birding was very slow, with a few flyover pipits and goldfinch.
