[nysbirds-l] New York Birders Facebook Page

2012-03-09 Thread Corey Finger
For those who haven't stumbled across it yet some of us have set up a page on
Facebook called "New York Birders." The (still evolving) point of it is:

This is a group for New York birds, birders, and birding. Share your sightings,
photos, birding stories, and blog posts.

Hopefully this group will help build the New York birding community - far too
often we run into each other in the field and fail to introduce ourselves.
Maybe if we see each others faces on Facebook we will be more willing to stop
and compare notes!

Anyone interested in joining the page is welcome!  It can be found here:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/NYBirders

One really nice aspect of a birding group on Facebook is how much easier it is
to share pictures and have discussions that those who are not interested can
tune out.

Good Birding,
Corey Finger
