[nysbirds-l] Ruff JBWR - Yes
7/9/12 12:23pm Looking at one of the Ruff right now from a spit just south of the North Island on the north end of the East Pond. Entered via the northwest corner and worked our way just a few hundred yards down and there he was, right across the water. Also nice are a few Gull-billed Terns flying around. Joe Jannsen and I are currently viewing the Ruff. It is located along the east side of the Pond, considerably far south to where the "footprints" end. It is associating with a few yellowlegs.
