Last seen flying towards the south end and appeared heading of the pond towards the bay. If you come in from the south end please check the corners carefully. Different bird from the earlier Ruff with very little molt around the neck. I did get some shots a short video clip documenting the

With the usual caveats about reliably identifying a bird based solely a few photos stated up front. Andrew's images of today's Ruff show a bird with much more brightly colored legs than the individual he photographed back on the 15th. Soft part coloration typically decreases in intensity

The second Ruff that was found on Wednesday showed well at the north end of the east pond. It was there from 2:00-5:00pm and was still there when I left. It wandered around a lot and ranged from right at the entrance at the north west part of the pond to the island and as far south as about
