There is 1 sandhill crane associated with a large flock of Canada geese (and 1 snow goose) at Wainscott Pond (East Hampton). The field is private but the bird can be seen from the road. I had 4 purple sandpipers FOS on the ocean jetty south of Hook Pond (East Hampton). *Bruce Horwith* *16 Salt
