[nysbirds-l] Stone Bridge Nighthawk Watch Results - August 30th
Things cooled off quite a bit bird wise last night with "only" 39 nighthawks being seen in 139 minutes of recorded time with all the birds south of the south pond providing only a few satisfying views. Eighteen participants took part John T. Stone Bridge Nighthawk Watch Directions: Long Island Expressway to Nicolls Road (Exit 62). Take Nicolls Road north to the end where it joins State Route 25A. Make a right heading east on 25A. Make left at first light onto Main Street. Take this north to end where it forms a t-intersection. Look to left and you'll see the stone bridge crossing over water.
