Currently, there is a Tri-colored heron feeding in the ditch along Dune Rd by
house 81(large white modern home under construction with white Gate). Am
Bittern in same location, and Clapper Rail heard and seen in distance. Other
Clappers were visibly seen slightly to east where Bay nearly meets
There is currently one adult tri-colored heron in the lagoon at pehlam bay park
now.a beautiful one and not skittish at all while fishing.

A Tri-colored Heron is present at Pussy's Pond in Springs in East Hampton, NY
Tremendous work has been done on and around the pond including removal of many
of the phragmites.

Westhampton Beach.
Dune road just west of Ponquogue Bridge on north side. Very active, nice looks,

There is currently a Tri-colored Heron on Turtle Cove Pond, adjacent to the
golf driving range.
The bird is foraging along with Great and Snowy Egrets.
This is an unusual bird for this location.
