[nysbirds-l] Tri-colored Heron - Dune Rd, East Quogue

2020-05-12 Thread Eileen Schwinn
Currently, there is a Tri-colored heron feeding in the ditch along Dune Rd by
house 81(large white modern home under construction with white Gate). Am
Bittern in same location, and Clapper Rail heard and seen in distance. Other
Clappers were visibly seen slightly to east where Bay nearly meets the Road.

[nysbirds-l] Tri-colored Heron @ Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge

2016-06-18 Thread Andrew Baksh
For the folks birding at the bay who might be interested. A Tri-colored Heron
is currently feeding on the north side edge of the area "formerly known as the
West Pond."

With Tom Burke and Gail Benson.
