In my post yesterday, I forgot to mention that we also saw four UPLAND SANDPIPERS at the Genesee County Airport. This airport is just north of the City of Batavia, just north of the Thruway. We found tham from Saile Drive, which runs along the south side of the airport. We were across the road from Milton, which is a company that sells large earth-moving equipment - easy to spot. We did not have a very wide expanse as we were looking between buildings but it was not bad. The Upland Sandpipers were between the runways. There were also several Kestrels in the area and a Northern Harrier.
