I just found a Yellow-breasted Chat in the brush north of the road and west of the Coast Guard Station at Jones Beach. It was along the western edge of a somewhat open bowl, observed at these coordinates: (40.5886626,-73.5587467). The bird appeared while I was pishing for warblers, dropping out of sight after investigating the noise.
