Although I did not see the interesting sandpiper found yesterday by Andy
Baldelli and Andrew Baksh, I have viewed the excellent photos by John
Shemilt and Andrew Baksh (via Hugh McGuinness) and concur with Hugh and Shai
that the bird is most likely a LEAST SANDPIPER in a more advanced plumage

I havent seen a post as yet, but I had a phone callabout an hour ago relaying
that a TEMMICKS STINT was found on/near DuneRoad on eastern Long Island.
Im sure
I saw the bird and am not yet convinced. There were many photos taken
and these should be available later and the analysis shall begin.
