Hi James, I can't say that I've found Canada Warblers breeding in Harriman specifically, but they breed readily at a similar latitude (and probably at even lower elevation) in southern Rhode Island, in red maple swamps along the interior edge of the Charlestown Moraine (e.g, in numbers at the Great Swamp WMA, where I heard one just this morning). There are even a few breeding records from red maple swamps in central Long Island (e.g., Connetquot River SP in Oakdale and Maple Swamp in Flanders):
