Hi Bill NY Birders, You were right, I for one was interested. I have only one question: what's the difference between a dark *morph* and a *melanic* individual? Does the word morph imply that it is a Mendelian trait (like Blue Snow Geese), or at least genetically determined, whereas a melanic
