Gardiner County Park. Also present were a Marsh Wren, at least seven Willets,
Least Sandpipers, and Laughing Gulls.

Monday, 30 April, 2012 - Bryant Park, [mid-town] Manhattan, N.Y. City
A male PROTHONOTARY Warbler continues on for at least the eighth
straight day in Bryant Park. The Protho. was in the southwest portion
of the park, mainly in London Plane trees as it's been most of the
time there.
For this last day of April 2012, migration certainly has kicked up a
notch or three... and N.Y. City is already closing in on having 30
species of wood-warblers distributed around its five boroughs/
counties, with a reliable report of a Kentucky warbler singing in a
part of Prospect Park
Anthony Collerton texted to NYNYBIRD that he had yellow-throated w at
Azalea Pond. Anyone know anything about it?

Indeed, the NYC Audubon Bryant Park tour got lucky this morning between 8-9 AM,
getting great views of the Prothonotary. He was singing loudly, first very
high, then lower in the plane trees along the southern side of the park. There
was also a singing male Yellow Warbler BW Warbler, several

Eric Miller, just called to report a *Golden-winged Warbler* at Crocheron
Park, which is in Bayside Queens. Heard and seen on the eastern end of the
park near the gazebos. Good luck if you go!

gazebos. Some more specific directions: Park by the western end of the pond.
There is a walkway with shallow steps that goes up the hill. At the end
