Kissean Corridor, Queens New York I was able to get at least one Blue Grosbeak (if anyone is interested).   It was out in the open multiple times and gave great views. too bad it was too dark to get a good clear picture. Follow the Flickr link to see it.

Its an interesting thought, but I'll also point out that I still had a Tennessee Warbler in my yard (photographed) in Albany as late as October 27 (pre-Sandy) along with a Nashville Warbler.  Other Nashville Warblers were reported in the Albany area as well on the same day.  So at least a few

11/2/12 Roosevelt Truck Trail (Minerva in Essex Co.) 36 degrees, overcast/drizzling/a few snowflakes! Janet Allison and I hiked about 4 miles round trip on the Roosevelt Truck Trail this morning. The most abundant species was White-winged Crossbill - even outnumbering the Pine Siskins!
