This morning, on an outgoing tide, there were a decent variety of shorebirds on the bar at the West End marina, and a good variety in the ponds between WE2 and the nature preserve. Highlights included some fifteen Western Willets on the sandbar along with four Red Knots. On the ponds were two

Any recent information on this bird?  I have the opportunity to be nearby and could stop tomorrow or Tuesday. Not to be a broken record, as I've asked this before, but has anyone investigated the possibility that this bird is an escapee?   Any informed opinion on this topic would be
