Hi all, I've walked down to almost the bridge after not seeing the black headed
gull on the spit ..there wasn't a ton of goals but one of them happens to be
the Black Headed Gull which is feeding where the water meets the shore and
flying about 30 to 50 yards at a time getting closer to the

The previously reported Painted Bunting is still going strong at the Gatsby
playground at Jones Beach. Seen with Rob Taylor.

Regarding ongoing sightings & reports of a VEERY in Manhattan (New York City) at Bryant Park, one city block east of famed Times Square, this extraordinarily late and long-lingering straggler now present there at least 2 months, with sightings continuing through - & now, beyond - the first week
This morning I took a crack at seeing what might be different with the Gull
flock at Brooklyn Bridge Park in the early AM hours.
Just after light, I picked out the continuing adult Black-headed Gull (BHGU).
Additionally, while sorting through the rest of the Gulls, I found 3 Iceland
Gulls
I had a few minutes to drive through EPCAL and was disappointed to miss all
species of raptor. On my way out I had a half dozen or so bluebirds hanging in
the trees along the entrance way, just north of the lake.
Spending the afternoon in the Hyatt’s ballroom overlooking the river I watched
