This evening, thirteen observers and 4 counters enjoyed the highest count night this year at the Frank Melville Memorial Park stone bridge in Setauket. In less than two hours (114 minutes), we tallied 311 nighthawks, most feeding south of the South pond (at one point, up to 100 lingered there
