Black Guillemot still at the inlet at 4:10. It was just off the road in the
inlet. I didn't even have to get out to see it. There were also 4 Ruddy

it was sitting on the water. If it stayed on the
water I am sure I would have never spotted it. It look like a small log with a
pointy end upriver. When sitting on the water one could see the light markings
on the wing, the bill and occasionally the rump.

Nice day, started with finding the Virginia's Warbler right away at about
7:30am and then re-finding him so others could see him. Then went to Jones and
saw both Crossbills and 4 Pipits. Then stopped at Jamaica Bay saw the new
inlet and found a Marsh Wren but not much else.

Waterman Bird Club trip to Vassar College today turned up a Blue-headed Vireo,
9 Sapsuckers, a Winter Wren, Cedar Waxwings, Bluebirds and a Black Vulture. I

Nice day, started with finding the Virginia's Warbler right away at about
7:30am and then re-finding him so others could see him. Then went to Jones and
saw both Crossbills and 4 Pipits. Then stopped at Jamaica Bay saw the new
inlet and found a Marsh Wren but not much else.

Found a dead snowy owl today (Sunday) at road I off of Dune Rd. 8:30am or so.
Also found two living Snowy Owls as we'll.

After a great lunch of steamers and Ceviche we headed out to EPCAL. I never
had Ceviche before but love trying new things. It was quite good.

Indigo Bunting

. After reviews of photos of
Franklin's Gulls the bird I had was on the lighter side but not as light as
some of the photos.
Had a total of 4 Merlins and 2 Peregrines Ocean Parkway and 6 Merlins and 3
Peregrines Dune Rd.
Also had two Snow Buntings in the parking lot at Tiana Beach.

had missed the bird and I spotted
it in the distance making its way back to the field it was seen at earlier.
Wow what a bird!!! This is what birding is all about, seeing such an amazing
bird in the wilds of NJ ;) and not on National Geographic in some far away
country.
