Barnacle and blue goose are next to each other with about 300 Canadas on
north side of Sound Avenue, just west of Ackerly Pond Rd. 3Pm. Didn't see
White Fronted, but have no scope today.

Rough-legged hawk hovering and moving east from Overlook Beach entrance

Yesterday (3/11) two Piping Plovers were at the breach located at the
western end of Smith Point County Park. It was low tide, and they
were loafing on the exposed sand bars.

Anyone want to help with an ID for this goose located on the north fork of
Long Island on 12/12?
Canada/white fronted? Canada/domestic goose?
Note it is the approximate size of a canada, with orange legs and
orange/black mottled bill.
Thanks

On leaving Jones Beach west end (after great views of both King Eiders),
saw a rough-legged hawk hovering over Ocean Parkway about 1/2 mile east of
the X-Mas lights.about 2PM.
