[nysbirds-l] BROWN PELICAN at Robert Moses SP (Suffolk County)
Pat Lindsay, Pete Morris and I just had a BROWN PELICAN fly past the concession building at parking field 2 at Robert Moses. It was well out over the ocean and high, heading east to west. When last seen it was dropping a bit and angling toward shore somewhere between Fire Island to Cedar Beach. If birding along the south shore today it might pay to keep your eyes open for it.
