The Bar-tailed Godwit at Cupsogue LI, was contently feeding and napping all 
morning. When I left minutes ago, it was still there being observed by a 
handful of birders.

Congrats to Ben Bolduc for the find and thanks to all who assisted in 
determining the ID and subsequently getting the word out.

[nysbirds-l] Bar-tailed Godwit -Yes at Cupsogue

Currently being seen at eastern most sandbar, south end.  Chest high in water, 
feeding.  Nearby Common Terns which are along shoreline.  Tide is about2 hrs 
after dead low and rising. High tide due at around 4pm.
